What are the yellow pants people please?

I had that question for a while, but after reading some other replies to other question, I think I figured that it is by rarity of the skills.
A yellow guy would have one more positive trait and I guess there would be a third category of villagers with 4 positive traits!

nini There are also green pants and if you spend 300 epic heart/blood which color is purple, the differences are that they are smarter and a little more, more skilled (I think).

You got it right! That's it, pants color is to indicate rarity of the follower.

Also as rarity goes up followers get +1 trait per tier and less bad traits.

I'd like to ask however how does one produces them? Besides the starter pack, does having 2 of the same tier produces 1 equal tier? It's chance based? Or which is the %?

Also how do we make them "pair" do they have to work in the same place? If we use the fertilization power how does it works tier related?

For example a legendary fertilized with power will have?

Hi,
As of right now, here is the way it works:

Any follower is born Common/Blue (75%), Uncommon/Yellow (20%), or Epic/Green (5%), whatever rarity their parents are, whether you use the Fertility power or not
For any two followers to pair, there has to be:
- At least one male follower in the village
- A female follower who is not working and not pregnant already
- Plus, the more followers in your village, the less likely every female follower is to get pregnant

However...
The first point regarding rarity is going to change in next version 1.8, which should be out in ten days or so.
Details will be provided once this happens, but the rough idea is that probabilities should then depend on parents' rarity, with Epic parents more likely to give birth to an Epic child, and the Fertility power equivalent to a Common father.

To answer your question accurately, here are to probabilities to get a follower born with luck at least 6, depending on rarity:
- Common: Impossible
- Uncommon: 5%
- Epic: Impossible (because they start with all skills at 5)

Considering the point seen above, it would be nice for Epic followers to reach more max values at birth. For next version (coming soon), here is how this will work:
- Legendary followers will give birth to Common (5%), Uncommon (5%) or Epic (90%) followers, just like two Epic parents would
- Epic follower will no longer be born with all their skills at 5. Instead, these skills will be between 4 and 8, for a total to 28 skill points. That will mean 5% to get luck at least 6.
