Recycling legendary follower equipment

Legendary follower's accompanying attire is good. But I prefer tailoring my own epic quality gear that is more suited to the tasks I set for the follower.

Unfortunately, you cannot recycle their legendary attire? So as you replace their starting clothes, they just clog up your inventory.

My suggestion is that legendary equipment be made recyclable.

Originally, legendary items could not be recycled because you basically paid for them, with actual money. Just like legendary followers cannot be ditched from the graveyard, the idea was to avoid any accident regarding something you paid for.
Now that these followers and their items can be purchased with blood offerings that you earn in-game, we may have a re-think over this.
